Idealair Group (IAG) is a HVAC distribution company with its primary brands related to ventilation, heating and cooling. 

We’re looking for a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic Logistics Controller to join our team currently based in Chullora. This role has a primary focus on logistics, operational warehousing and customer service and is suitable for someone who loves to be hands on and get involved with day to day operations.

Job Description

The Role:

  • To work alongside management to implement then supervise new inventory control systems and procedures
  • Ensure all inventory is managed in-line with the new inventory control guidelines
  • Responsibility for the receipt of all inventory into the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.
  • Processing of orders and data entry into the Microsoft Dynamics NAV System.
  • Responsible for the picking and packing of all outward bound customer orders
  • Operation and maintenance of the company forklifts in accordance with company and OH&S directives
  • Conduct cyclical stock takes throughout the financial year in conjunction with management
  • Maintain stock levels, including stock housekeeping
  • Maintain the complete warehouse and showroom in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and develop good customer relations
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure the business and customers’ needs are met and information is formally passed between all parties
  • Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift both from our freight carriers and for customer pick ups
  • Some light assembly of product is required to meet customer requirements
  • Support the sales team in answering some sales and telephone enquiries
  • Some counter sales and providing support around product issues

Desired Skills and Experience

Who are you?

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Previous experience in the warehousing is a pre-requisite for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and part of a team
  • A current Forklift Licence & Drivers Licence
  • Experience in a B2B wholesale role
  • Sound knowledge of Windows based computer systems, ie. Microsoft Office products
