Currently, there is an opportunity at our Dandenong South, VIC office for a Part-Time Warehouse Assistant (20 hours per week) to join the Idealair Group team. This role will assist with processing incoming and outgoing goods, unloading and loading couriers and trucks, picking and packing goods / orders that are to be supplied to Idealair Group customers and inter-branches.
Job Description
The Role:
Picking & packing goods to the Idealair Group delivery scheduling system
Ensure orders are supplied on the nominated date and to the correct address, while communicating with the Senior Warehouse staff (or customer when directed) should lead times not be achievable
Ensure that all deliveries from Idealair (including locally sourced goods) are received and despatched in good order and are adequately packaged so that equipment will be received in the same condition as when despatched.
While carrying out regular duties, ensure that the store is kept in a clean and tidy manner
Loading / Unloading couriers as & when required (hand & forklift unload)
Notifying Warehouse Supervisor of any extraordinary stock discrepancy or deficiency noticed during the normal workday
Assist with any miscellaneous warehouse activities as and when required
Desired Skills and Experience
Who are you?
ideal candidate should possess:
Previous experience in the warehousing would be an advantage however not compulsory as training can be provided
A current Forklift Licence is mandatory
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High degree of attention to detail
Strong ability to work autonomously and part of a team
Sound knowledge of Windows based computer systems, i.e. Microsoft Office products
