Fantech is the leading manufacturer and supplier of traditional and innovative air movement products for commercial, industrial, and domestic applications, with a strong presence across Australia.

We have an opportunity at our Fantech NSW office in Huntingwood for a proactive Internal Sales Representative to join our sales team. The successful candidate will join a motivated sales team focussed on servicing and supporting the growth of our MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) category

Knowledge of ventilation systems would be an advantage but not essential.

Job Description

The Role

  • Join a close-knit team in an exciting growth area of ventilation that helps deliver healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable buildings.
  • Handle telephone and email sales and technical inquiries, referring customers to other specialists within the business where appropriate.
  • Provide timely responses to customers to maximise project opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the national MVHR sales team to develop concept designs and quotes, execute sales orders, and provide technical support as needed to help ensure high performance outcomes for customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our architect, building designer, builder and contractor customer base.  Your involvement with a project will often start with early concept design right through to post occupancy support.
  • To assist in expanding our relationships nationally in the MVHR category with an immediate focus on NSW
  • Some on-site commissioning support and fault diagnosis will be required from time to time.

Desired Skills and Experience

Who are you?

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
  • Proven sales and problem-solving skills, with an ability to engage with customers to build trust and loyalty.
  • Prior experience with contractors, or technical sales is highly regarded.
  • A degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent (a strong technical sales history with ventilation products may be considered as an alternative).
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with attention to detail.
