Fantech is a leading supplier of traditional and innovative ventilation and air movement products for commercial, industrial and domestic applications with offices and distributors throughout Australia and overseas.


We have an opportunity at our Malaga WA office for a proactive Sales Manager to lead the Fantech Trade team. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated sales team, and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the Fantech Trade market segment and reseller networks. A knowledge of, and brief understanding of Air Movement will also be beneficial.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Fantech Trade WA sales team, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in major customers, including electrical wholesalers, resellers, contractors, and architects, to drive sales growth and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and WA State Manager to set strategic sales goals and KPIs, ensuring the achievement of budget targets for sales volumes,
  • Develop and implement training programs for the Fantech Trade WA team, as well as electrical wholesalers, resellers, and their customers, to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights and recommend improvements to sales strategies and the product range
  • Take a leading role in organising and attending trade customer events, presentations, and promotions to increase product visibility and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Provide regular reports to the National Sales Manager and WA State Manager, breaking down performance by wholesaler/group, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all sales materials are up-to-date, maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

To be successful you will need:

  • Exceptional customer service with an ability to deliver excellent presentations
  • Proven sales skills and the ability to negotiate orders and problem solve
  • Demonstrated previous experience with Electrical Wholesalers and or Electrical Contractors in WA
  • A high level of motivation and commitment to achieving outstanding sales results
  • A valid WA Driver's license
  • Superior interpersonal skills and well developed written and verbal communication skills
