We have an opportunity at our Meadowbrook office for a proactive Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team.

As an Operations Supervisor at Fantech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of our inwards goods and warehouse departments. Reporting to the Operations Manager and QLD state manager, you will lead a team of dedicated personnel, collaborate with various departments, and directly engage with our valued customers to deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Description

The Role:

  • Coordinating and optimising the workflow for warehouse personnel.
  • Maintaining a flexible working environment to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Implementing and managing systems to enhance the efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of warehousing and inwards goods functions.
  • Developing and tracking daily/weekly KPIs for yourself and your team.
  • Overseeing staffing schedules to ensure inwards goods coverage during operational hours.
  • Leading initiatives to improve stock location systems and identification practices.
  • Providing guidance to staff, resolve issues, and reduce quality concerns.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of required paperwork.
  • Managing freight providers and guiding despatch team to achieve customers deliveries within budget.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should possess 

  • Year 12 VCE Qualification or its equivalent, as well as a valid Forklift Licence.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role is highly valued, highlighting your ability to lead and guide a team effectively. 

In this dynamic position, strong multitasking and time-management skills are crucial, and the capability to prioritise tasks is essential. Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, is key to success in this role.
