Ventair Pty Ltd is a specialist supplier of ventilation products, 3-in-1 bathroom heaters, ceiling fans, and energy-saving solutions. We're a well-established company servicing the electrical wholesale industry, and we’re currently offering a full-time position for a Victorian Sales Manager based in Carrum Downs.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for leading the Victorian external sales team and managing a small portfolio of key accounts. You’ll work closely with Senior Management to build a motivated, professional team that drives growth across the state. We’re looking for a driven individual who’s ready to take ownership of the territory, strengthen relationships, and deliver results.

Job Description

The Role:

  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and motivate the external sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Manage a small portfolio of key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitor pricing and discount structures to achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Prepare budgets, and reports for Senior Management.
  • Drive sales growth through product launches, promotions, and marketing activities.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate customer and competitor information within the CRM system.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful you will need:

  • 4–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop sales teams.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results driven.
  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, business, or a trade background (preferred).
