Currently, there is an opportunity at our Dandenong South office for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk (36.5hrs per week) for a fixed 9-month contract to join our exceptional Accounts team.
Job Description
The Role:
Preparing invoices for processing – both local and overseas.
Processing Accounts Payable Transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.
Reconciling creditors' accounts.
Liaise with Suppliers and other Accounts Payable/ Branch personnel staff across the business to resolve any discrepancies.
Credit Application processing for new suppliers.
Reconciliation of general ledger accounts, when required.
Meeting month-end close deadlines

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the ability to quickly adapt and maintain strong organisational skills in our fast-paced, dynamic sector. The ideal candidate should have:
Previous experience in accounts payable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Excel skills
High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work
Experience in accounting systems
Experience within the distribution industry would be advantageous, but not essential
