Currently there is an opportunity at our Sydney office – CURRENTLY LOCATED AT ALEXANDRIA AND RELOCATING TO CHULLORA IN Q1 2026 – for a proactive Warehouse Assistant to join the Idealair Group team. This role will assist with incoming and outgoing goods, particularly unloading/loading, picking and packing of goods to be supplied to idealair Group customers as well as Idealair Group branches
Job Description
The Role:
Picking & packing goods to the Idealair Group delivery scheduling system
Ensure orders are supplied on the nominated date and to the correct address, while communicating with the Senior Warehouse staff (or customer when directed) should lead times not be achievable
Ensure that all deliveries from Idealair (including locally sourced goods) are received and despatched in good order and are adequately packaged so that equipment will be received in the same condition as when despatched.
While carrying out regular duties, ensure that the store is kept in a clean and tidy manner
Loading Unloading containers as & when required (hand & forklift unload)
Notifying Warehouse Supervisor of any extraordinary stock discrepancy or deficiency noticed during the normal workday
Notifying customers of orders ready to be collected/despatched
Assist sales team with administrative housekeeping
Desired Skills and Experience
Who are you?
ideal candidate should possess:
Previous experience in the warehousing would be an advantage however not compulsory as training can be provided
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High degree of attention to detail
Strong ability to work autonomously and part of a team
A current Forklift Licence & Drivers Licence (forklift licence can be arranged for the right candidate)
Sound knowledge of Windows based computer systems, i.e. Microsoft Office products
